Dr. La is a dedicated low vision specialist who has been providing care since 2022. He initially served the low vision community across Central Florida before relocating to Texas. Dr. La is passionate about continuing to deliver rehabilitative care, raising awareness of available resources, and empowering patients with visual impairments to maintain their independence.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago and completed his Doctor of Optometry at Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Optometry. During graduate school, Dr. La focused on working with underserved communities and promoting preventative eye care to improve overall health outcomes. His clinical interests led him to recognize the critical need for expanded availability and treatment options for patients with low vision. To better serve this population, he completed a residency in low vision rehabilitation and ocular disease at the University of the Incarnate Word, Rosenberg School of Optometry.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. La enjoys discovering new restaurants, playing basketball and tennis, and spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends. He is excited to be part of the Texas community and looks forward to learning more about the area and connecting with local patients.
Dr. Bailey has been in private practice in Plano, TX since 2010. Since 2019, she has been working on a couple of special programs including a dry eye and aesthetics clinic (West Plano Dry Eye & Aesthetics), a sensory program for athletes (Sports Vision Institute), and a clinic for the vision impaired (Low Vision Institute of Texas). She also is involved in international medical humanitarian work.
She attended Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) and the University of Houston College of Optometry (Go Coogs!). For 18 wonderful years she has been married to Joel. They have three unusually beautiful children Rhett, Tag, and Joanna, who attend Prestonwood Christian Academy and eventually will go to Texas A&M University (WHOOP!). They stay busy with sports, piano, school, and friends.
Helping vision impaired patients maximize remaining vision, treating dry eye, and sensory training for athletes are Dr. Bailey's professional passions.
Dr. Supriya Krishnan, is a therapeutic & developmental optometrist and Texas optometric board certified Glaucoma specialist. She employs a family-oriented approach to build long-lasting relationships with her patients. She is passionate about providing superior eyecare while focusing on overall health of kids and adults.
Dr. Krishnan, raised in India, graduated with honors from one of India’s top universities with a degree in Computer Science Engineering. After completing her undergraduate degree, she moved to the United States to earn an MBA, with a concentration in Finance from the University of Tampa. She graduated with honors as well.
Throughout her schooling, Dr. Krishnan received several awards, scholarships and recognition. Working for a few years at a large hospital in Tampa and for Wellcare, a well known health insurance company, helped Dr. Krishnan learn a lot about the healthcare system in the United States. She then went on to earn a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas.
While in Optometry School, Dr. Krishnan was an active member of several optometric associations.
Dr. Krishnan completed a clinical externship at Manrique Custom Vision, San Antonio, TX where she managed several pre-operative and post-operative patients for LASIK, and several dry eye patients. She then went on to complete a clinical externship at Drs. Kozlowsky, Delay and Winters, San Antonio, TX.
Here she gained experience in management of ocular disease and contact lenses, including specialty fits and amblyopia. She saw a vast array of conditions in pediatric and geriatric population. She also managed several pre-operative and post-operative patients for cataract surgeries. She then completed another clinical externship at Sharp Eye Consultants, San Antonio, TX where she trained in management of ocular disease, with emphasis on glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. She also gained experience in management of pre-operative and post-operative patients for cataract surgeries. This rotation enabled her to gain extensive interaction with vast array of conditions in the geriatric population.
After graduation from optometry school, Dr. Krishnan volunteered at a practice in Bangalore, India and co-managed several ocular conditions such as uveitis, ocular injuries, corneal conditions, etc.
Dr. Krishnan is a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Krishnan currently lives in Memorial with her husband, Lokesh and her two sons, Trivik and Vishnav and daughter, Shloka. In her free time, Dr. Krishnan enjoys cooking different cuisines, traveling and learning about different cultures and traditions, listening to music, swimming and tennis.
Natalie Guerra has been an office administrator in the medical field since 2011. She has spent the majority of that time working with Dr. Bailey, at her private practice (2013-2020), and now at the Offices of Dr. Bailey (2022-present). She has also spent time working in ocular surgery.
Natalie attended West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX as well as Collin College. In her professional career, Natalie has served in a variety of roles including Receptionist, Ophthalmic Technician, Medical Billing, Human Resources, and Insurance Credentialing. She is a major "planner" and enjoys keeping things organized and schedules on track.
Natalie genuinely cares for her patients, and wants them to feel comfortable throughout their journey of achieving their skincare and wellness goals. She enjoys medical humanitarian work as well, alongside Dr. Bailey in Guatemala each year, and hopes to serve in more places in the future.
Of all the things that Natalie loves, at the top of the list is her three incredible children. She loves making memories with them and her husband, Randy, who she married in 2022. When she's not working or hanging out with the kids, she and her husband love to travel, attend sports events, and visit breweries and wineries around the country.
